Between October 29th and 31st, you can knock on a few creator doors each day to claim exclusive Halloween-themed surprises — everything from eerie CC to cozy fall mods!
Then, on November 1st, all the treats are fully revealed and downloadable for everyone. 🍬
🧡 Creators: How to Join
You can upload your mods right now, and the site will automatically hold them until your chosen reveal day (29th – 31st).

Click Upload/Post
Select Mods
Choose the game your mod is for (any game is welcome!)
Fill everything out as usual until you reach Additional Details
At the very bottom, set “Participate in Simblreen?” → Yes
Pick one day (29th, 30th, or 31st) for your treat to unlock
Hit Save & Schedule — and you’re all set! 🎁
💡 Important:
If you choose the 30th, your mod will also appear on the 31st.
If you choose the 29th, your mod will show on both the 30th and 31st.
You can upload multiple treats for the same day or different days.
Just make sure to schedule before that date passes (server time = UTC).

It’s more or less about what my inspiration is about, and what I want things to look like.
I also shared what female base mesh I have so far made! Of course it’s missing a lot still (like hair and clothes lol) but if you have any feedback on it so far, let me know! :)
It’s been a bit since I checked in and I know I keep making these posts without showing much lol.
Truth be told, I am feeling very burnt out from the sims 3 at the moment.
At this point I’m not entirely sure when I will fully return back to it but I feel that I do need to listen to myself and follow my more new interests.
I am currently attempting to finish the UI but after that I really don’t know if I will be making any more content for the game, aside from story stuff, which I will be updating soon too.
What’s next?
Aside from doing more stuff with InZOI and hopefully paralives when it comes out, creating non-sims assets for Unreal and Unity and maintaining Simblr.cc, I am also working on my (life-sim-like) dream game!
Currently it’s all capsules that talk and incredibly prototype-y, and I still need to make assets for it, but I’ve been working on it everyday for the past few weeks and really loving it!
A lot of the elements I want to include are things I have talked about before modding to the sims 3, but truth be told, because the sims 3 was never meant to have things like stories be told, or interests and hobbies, I find myself having to annnoyingly hack it all in. And that has also really killed my enthusiasm in modding.
Here though, I can just add these things without thought :)

My first InZOI Garments! I spent quite a bit of work on these and learning the ropes on not just retopology (from MD to blender), but also how to create clothing for InZOI!
All Garments are “Full sets”, meaning that you can’t switch bikini tops/bottoms. But once ModKit gets updated for it, I might do that in the future :)
Apparently this was too… ‘nude’ for curseforge, so that’s why you won’t be able to find it in the in-home InZOI mods launcher, but hey. Each to their own, I guess lol.
(Ps, in the future I’ll make sure to keep this blog more ts3, I just was really proud of my first mod! 😉)
Someone brought it to my attention that uploading gameplay pictures, while possible, isn’t possible to have it attached to an event. (aka the autumn event).
Now, if you were one of those people who couldn’t upload any gameplay pictures to the contest you can do two things:
Upload it on Tumblr and simply tag @simblrcc-siteand I will count it as an entry! :)
Upload it on Simblr.cc anyways and put somewhere in the title/description “for autumn event/for giveaway contest”.
… and I will manually assign it to the event myself :)
Sorry again for this HUGE blunder and any inconvenience it may have brought you! I’m kind of beating myself up for it too. 😬 In the meantime, I’ll fix the issue. I’m just not sure if I will have it fixed soon enough for the contest’s deadline.
It must be pretty hard these days for new CC creators to get their foot in the door and getting a following going. A lot of mods these days are like super high-res, edited images, with really impressive meshes!
I like to sort of compare it with 2010 youtube to 2025 youtube videos. The starting quality you need to have these days for getting some views vs Microsoft movie maker quality tutorials… it’s quite a stark difference really.
Working on the Dead site repository a bunch lately got me thinking about that. I mean, here’s a great example of a 2013-ish tumblr content: Modish kitten or Simsimi. Back then these images were super impressive!
I just wonder, if hypothetically speaking, those creators made their way in today, if it would be the same somehow? If they’d get recognision as much as they did back in 2013-ish?
Although I think this applies pretty heavily to the sims 4, I guess all sims communties have moved a bit to super high quality items.
Anyways, that’s what was just on my mind that I wanted to share lol. I guess sometimes I miss the good ol’ days where picture taking was still simple. 😉

I’m really excited to be doing Simblr.cc’s first giveaway! I know InZOI is not everyone’s choice of game, but the newest DLC has me seriously hooked playing it. I haven’t really done that since 2013 with a sims game.
Any sims game can join in! So you don’t have to take InZOI pictures and upload that obviously (That’s kind of defeating the point of getting the free steam key lol).

If anyone is curious, i’m currently also working on a brand-new story on my sideblog, but for InZOI! I figured I’d reblog it in case anyone is interested in reading it. 😉
I’ve been a bit inactive for a while and I figured it’s probably good to mention why, what’s going on, etc.
Lately I’ve gotten really into InZOI modding, especially writing tutorials, and that then ironically rolled me into the whole metahuman clothing stuff lol.
It’s been fun! I get to update my knowledge much more on the 3D clothing workflow, I’ve also gotten really into Marvelous designer, and getting the hang of that really well!
I’m currently working on making a bikini and swimsuit set, because man is InZOI lacking in those! And then also hopefully share them as Metahuman wardrobe items too! :)
I’m hoping after I’m done with this set, to make some halloween-like inspired outfits too, given that that’s coming soon too!

What about TS3?
I’ve been feeling a bit burned out from playing and modding, truth be told. It’s always been a fun puzzle, figuring out how to add my ideas into the game, but I’ve been also doing that for years now and just needed something new for a bit.
That’s not to say i’m abandoning it!
I’m still writing updates for Life is Sunniest in Sunset Valley, as that has become a bit of a “I can’t sleep and my brain isn’t shutting down, I need a distraction” late night mantra at this point lol. Especially after cutting myself off of tiktok, youtube and instragram shorts hehe.
I actually can’t wait to jump back into the game and share what’s coming too, I really feel that same enthusiasm writing it as I did when I started it, and that’s a good thing! I feel like I’m including much more humor too because of that.
Other than that, I’ve been really busy with Simblr.cc too, updating that and making it better in places! (I will be posting a changelog update soon on the tumblr!)
And me? Well, much better! I eventually figured it’s probably better to talk about my issues in therapy and getting over some weird anxiety-driven mechanisms I created to fit this, what I thought, was what people expected from me.
I actually don’t feel nervous or anxious anymore whenever I create something, and getting the help to manage my ADHD much better without the internal punishment when things go wrong has been a massive help too :)
Anyways! I hope you’re all doing well too! I’ll try to catch up on your stories and posts soon enough!
Quick note, I finally got around to making a TS4 blog!
Now obviously that doesn’t mean I’m abandoning TS3 lol. But I am hoping to be making a ts4 story over there (and post future CC too if I get around it 😉)
